![]() I've used all of the tools listed in this thread and I've settled on OneNote for the most part. If you've figured out a great productivity / note system, please let me know. This is closest I've found to being great, but it's macOS / iOS only, and it also failed to import my Evernote backup. This looked promising, but after importing my Evernote notes (about 2,000 of them, totalling 10GB) the desktop app kept crashing, and the mobile app mixed up all the note titles. Just too complex, although I do use it for project management at work. Syncing all the above between macOS and Android.Housing images, PDFs, and audio files - so a simple text note app won't cut it.Capturing thoughts, interview notes, meeting notes etc.Managing to-do lists - both personal and professional.Perhaps you have - in which case I'd love your advice! It's damn-near unusable.ĭespite spending a year trying to find an alternative, though, I just can't. The last straw came last week when Evernote retired the "legacy" application and replaced the macOS app with a slow, hideous web wrapper. ![]() I'd define the first five years of that relationship as great, the last four as begrudging, and the last one as me being actively held captive and trying to escape. I've been an Evernote user for almost a decade.
